Scott Spelfogel joined CW Financial Services (CW) in 2005 and serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel for CW.  Mr. Spelfogel also serves on the Executive Committee, a six member team responsible for providing strategic direction to CW and its subsidiaries.  In these capacities, Mr. Spelfogel is responsible for the coordination and delivery of all legal services to the Company and its subsidiaries, as well as corporate governance, regulatory compliance, contracts, leasing, litigation, corporate acquisitions and new business ventures.  Mr. Spelfogel also has oversight of the human resources, corporate insurance and closing departments of the company.

Mr. Spelfogel is a 20-year veteran of the commercial and multifamily real estate industries.  Prior to joining CW, Mr. Spelfogel spent 17 years with The Berkshire Group, a Boston-based real estate, financial services and healthcare company, where he last held the title of Senior Vice President and General Counsel.  In addition to private legal practice experience in both New York and Boston, Mr. Spelfogel has over 20 years of in-house counsel experience, serving both private and NYSE and AMEX listed companies.  His broad legal experience includes securities law, real estate, employment law, litigation, contracts and general corporate law.

Mr. Spelfogel received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Boston University School of Management, a Master of Laws in Taxation from Boston University School of Law, and a Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of Law.
