This leadership is illustrated by our approval as one of the first national lenders for HUD’s Multifamily Accelerated Processing (“MAP”) system and our closing of the first MAP loan in the country in July, 2000. Lending on a wide variety of transactions, from Class A new construction to substantial rehabilitation and affordable housing, we offer the most competitive rates available, combined with the strength and benefits of our regional, in-house underwriting, servicing and closing teams. We have also become a leading lender for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through the HUD programs, and in 2006 launched a new Healthcare Bridge Loan program, offering expedited access to the HUD fixed-rate permanent loan program, combining the benefits of expedited timing while obtaining the high leverage, long-term benefits of a HUD loan.
