New York, NY; Atlanta, GA, September 13, 2011 – Rockwood Real Estate Advisors, a full-service commercial real estate investment banking firm, today announced expansion of its national, integrated real estate services platform via the hiring of C. Christopher Turner as Managing Director. Mr. Turner is responsible for national investment sales, debt placement/advisory and structured equity placements with a concentration in major commercial equities - office, industrial and retail properties. He will also oversee the management and expansion of Rockwood’s Atlanta/Southeast operations and will report to Daniel McNulty, President of Rockwood Real Estate Advisors.
Mr. Turner brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate investments as a fiduciary consultant, advisor and intermediary, and has completed over $4.0 billion in transactions nationally during his career. He possesses broad expertise in handling complex transactions and in maximizing investment returns through his comprehensive knowledge of real estate capital markets, financial underwriting, development, property operations and investment management.
Prior to joining Rockwood, Mr. Turner was a ten-year veteran of Holliday Fenoglio Fowler L.P., serving as Senior Managing Director, responsible for oversight and growth of their Atlanta office. Mr. Turner also held senior positions at Lend Lease Real Estate Investment; Compass Retail, a subsidiary of Equitable Real Estate; and served as a Principal of Newmark Knight Frank.
