Investment Management Team
With a comprehensive background in real estate acquisitions and financing, Gina leads the equity investment platform for CWCapital Investment Management. In eight short years the team has invested in over 30 properties and defaulted loans totaling $1.3 billion. Prior to joining CWCapital Investment Management, Gina was a Director at Sandler O’Neill, where she was responsible for establishing a commercial real estate loan acquisition and securitization program. Previously, she was a Director at Fisher Brothers where she was responsible for sourcing, underwriting and acquiring/originating over $4 bn of real estate assets, mezzanine and first mortgage loans. Before joining Fisher Brothers, Gina was an investment banker at Evercore Partners and Salomon Brothers. Gina graduated with a BA from Dartmouth College and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Sarah is a Vice President for CWCapital’s Investment Management team and is responsible for directing the sourcing, underwriting, market research and due diligence for new acquisitions. Sarah also oversees asset management for the firm’s investments including financial reporting and budget review, loan compliance and performance tracking. Prior to joining CWCapital, Sarah worked as an associate in loan origination at CCRE (Cantor Commercial Real Estate). Previously, Sarah was an associate in investment grade corporate credit research and strategy at Credit Suisse where she covered REIT and financial institution credits. Sarah graduated with a BA from Cornell University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
Rob is a Senior Associate for CWCapital’s Investment Management team. Since joining CWCapital in 2016, Rob has been responsible for overseeing underwriting and due diligence for new acquisitions. Rob also provides asset management support for the CWCIM’s investments including cash management, financial reporting, budgeting, loan compliance, lease analysis, and performance tracking oversight. Prior to joining CWCapital, Rob worked as an analyst for Compassrock Real Estate, where he was responsible for underwriting market rate multifamily and affordable housing transactions in the New York metropolitan area. Previously, Rob was a Senior Analyst with JLL’s transaction management team where he was responsible for preparing financial analysis for recommended real estate strategies on Deutche Bank’s North American operating portfolio. Rob graduated with a BS from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business.
Bobby is a Senior Analyst for CWCapital Investment Management and is responsible for underwriting new acquisitions, financial analysis, market research and supporting the asset management of the existing portfolio. Prior to joining CWCapital, Bobby worked as an analyst for Red River Asset Management where he underwrote prospective office acquisitions. Previously, Bobby was a real estate credit analyst at TD Bank where he worked on the origination and portfolio management teams. Bobby graduated with a BA from Franklin and Marshall College and a MS in Real Estate Finance from New York University.
Maria is the Research Analyst for CWCapital Investment Management and is responsible for market research, financial reporting, loan compliance and investor relations. Prior to joining CWCapital, Ms. Cruz worked for CompassRock Real Estate at Peter Cooper Village/Stuyvesant Town in both the legal and compliance departments managing property violations, leases, evictions, third party invoicing as well as department accruals and variances Ms. Cruz graduated with a BS in Criminology from the University of Tampa. Ms. Cruz received a certification from the NYU Schack Institute in Real Estate Finance and Investments in October 2016.
